Do you have the same artifact?

I noticed I get a graphical artifact in q2dm1. Only in q2dm1 and only in this particular spot. You move back and forth in the spawn spot and look at the far wall and a black square flickers in a split second. Is this normal? This happens no matter what client I use as long as I use OpenGL. I'm concerned that my computer might be fucked already.

It happens to me, too.

There are a number of maps where a part of a wall drops out if you stand in just the right place.  (The only one I can think of by name right now is mkfutile, but, there are quite a few.)

what is with the health and slugs there adam looks cartoony is that a pak or setting or whats up with that. I kinda like it is why i ask

celshading in aprq2 gl_celshading "1", gl_celshadingwidth "5" unsure if other clients support it, but http://apprime.0wns.org if you're interested.. if that link doesent work then try playing with the .org .. could be .com, .net or something

Thanks for the timeley replies. That is a relief. My old system had tons of graphic artifacts so I'm not sure what is normal and what's not.
