Anyone try out nexuiz yet?

Has anyone tried out the game "nexiuz" yet?  It looks nice and I was thinking of giving it a try, just wondering if anyone has checked it out and how they liked it.

It's free and seems to be based on the quake engine...some niice looking graphics and they claim the gameplay is excellent.

I can see the gameplay being pretty fun but my system just can't run it well enough to enjoy it.

I actually don't find the gameplay to be all that fun.. and yea, given the quality of the visuals, the game runs like ass.  Horribly inefficient, I have to assume.  Try Cube or Sauerbraten (it's sequel).  And, of course, Warsow.
