Invisible Players

i'm curious about this.  Does the invisible person show trails from shots?  i mean, can you see thier shots coming at you?  Rocket and rail trails?   How about blood?  When you nail them, does it splatter?  If both were true, it would be fun just as  a challenge.  How about sound, can you hear them?  Footsteps, grunts?  If all that were so, i'd think whipping out the chain and rocket launcher should make short work of them unless they are a skilled railer with it in hand. 

i actually hope to run into this to see what all is true about the physics of it.

You can see their  shots...you can hear them.I dont think the blood is visible, but you can hear them moan when you hit them.And when they die, most of the time they spawn visible again.
Plus Ive figured a way to tell right away if Im invisible.Usually I wear a female skin, well if I show up and I hear my male voice while jumping, and have a male body, it means Im invisible.Or I have input my skin incorrectly...which usually doesnt happen.

I saw an invisible player in the "railz" server tonight.
He denied he was cheating though.

He disconnected and reconnected 3 times, and still seemed to be invisible.

I was attacked by invisible player this morning, and I can tell u I knew it immediately.   So, I let it play out some more as I was still winningl; to find out I wasn't crazy so i spec ed him.  He for sure knew he was invisible, and he later came back visible. I dont think this is a glitch.  It is very obviously a hack and a good one.  I must say sure u guys may get all flipped out and think its cheating, but I kinda like it.  Watching him through first person was like an episode of Hollow Man.  U really never know how close he is.  He just has to move to the sides of the hall and he becomes very hard to hit.  Great hack I want it myself.  Not that I'd ever use it here tho.

I think it's one of those little talked about Linux hacks us penguins like to use........

Some folks were talking about me being invisible one night and I thought they were accusing me of cheating until they said it was nothing I had done. I'm so old school that I don't use a mouse, so it's hard to picture me downloading or writing hacks 

Btw, if it happens again PLEASE let me know - so I can take full advantage of it!
