A flitter and a flutter, but no flight,
from a screaming bird with broken beak,
I am.

Gooey droppings and bleeding entrails,
from a dying warm feathery body,
I am.

I fall.

Bacon is great and you can probably even make a turd taste good wrapped in it     but yeah, bacon wrap is the only way I can tolerate wild bird with dark meat. I prefer quail and pheasant. Too bad the quail are gone around here.

Fire ants

and coyotes and the biggie.......loss of habitat.

Coyotes yeah. Habitat ? maybe in your area, but around here, we still have plenty. Go to any area where the ants haven't taken over, like northern arkansas, and there's plenty of quail.

Fireants = drastic reductions of ticks, fleas, rabbits, quail, and many other ground dwelling insects/animals.

Sigma, regulated hunting actually helps the quail population.
