     hi, im currently not in a position to use a computer and so i was wondering if .dm2 files could be viewed from my phone, i dont want to play q2  just watch some demos.

Q2 demo files are played inside Q2 client apps and I know of no Q2 clients being built on any phones so I guess the answer is no.

There's a Q2 android emulator that works. It's a pain in the ass to use so YMMV.. They pulled the app from the store, but you can still find the APK online.

^? haven't tested any of this but it looks like viewing demos on an android phone should be possible, you do need to get the game data downloaded or copied over to the phone somehow.
