Quake 2 Dedicated server in Linux

Hi guys, im from Chile, and i come here to ask you for help, i want to host a dedicated servers of quake 2 rocket arena in my vps Linux, but i really didnt know how to, i was looking a few guides, but it has all the links broken, so, i searched in the internet and got a few links for quake2 for linux but i cant make the server =/

can someone help me?

You will need a dedicated server, and check out the server manual link on this page.

There is an r1q2 dedicated server out there somewhere too. I'm sure there is much more info somewhere in this forum on server setup as well.
