the starter doesnt work

It would be helpful to provide more details about how the starter doesn't work, and what error messages are being displayed (if any).

Not via R1Q2, but you could use any media player with CD playback support to listen to the Q2 soundtrack.

oh yeah and 1 last thing. when i restart r1q2 all my settings are reseted.

Most settings in R1Q2 aren't saved to a config after quitting, so you'd have to create an autoexec.cfg in \baseq2 and manually add them yourself.  Key bindings shouldn't be resetting though.
keybinds are reseting

keybinds are reseting

Here's a few possible causes:

  • config.cfg is set to read-only
  • You have an existing autoexec.cfg that's loading its own key bindings
  • R1Q2 is crashing on exit

Beyond this, I have no idea.

i still got the problem but i didnt check config. and by the way  i get this when EVER i start single player (EVEN ON MODS LOL)
