R1GL question

Well I guess I finally figured out why r1q2 was so fucking laggy all these years.  R1GL makes it fast as fuck.  However, it doesn't want to stay... In game, it keeps defaulting to default opengl.

I have this in config:

set gl_driver "opengl32"

What's the value I need to set for R1GL to work?

reflex is right. also, I use r1q2 with openGL...... just FYI.

r1gl lags the fuck out of my fps at certain maps and times, so I use opengl instead: vid_ref gl

Your video settings don't stay the same because it wasn't saved in your config.cfg in baseq2. Type: vid_ref "r1gl" in console, and then quit through the menu if your video settings aren't saving.

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
