NDML - Nations Deathmatch League

Just reminding everyone who follows the NDML that it is still running after a few uneventfull weeks before and after christmas, the first round in the playoffs as well as one game in the second round have already been played. The favorites this year around are as usual Sweden, Poland and Finland, allthough all the teams are suffering from inactivity among top players. Last years winners Poland

Well I have been keeping an eye on this.  Estonia does have a very strong team taking Finland to 5 maps.  I haven't watched the demo's yet but I'm going to soon. 

I was never a big fan of Western teams trying to compete in the European league since the ping differences really give one team a huge advantage depending on where the map is being played.  So I wasn't surprised when USA and Canada dropped out.  One day Internet technology will reach a point where you can play with someone around the world like they were in the next room, but it's just not quite there yet.

NDML has been the premier teamplay league for Q2 for a long time.  All good things....

sucks that USA and Canada both just dropped.. I tried to keep it going, but eventually when you're the only one that'll show up, it's by far easy to lose intrest.
