I just pulled a PIII out of the trash...someone upgraded in my apt. building and left the motherboard, ram, and cpu intact.  Haven't even looked closely to see what speed it is.  But my Dad's still running a 440 BX chipset pc with a celeron, so this might help him till I give him my latest castoff.

I'm sure you could get a couple of Ebay bucks for it.  Lots of people are putting together older pc's for firewalls, routers, satellite card decoders, etc.  

Note:  Just checked Ebay and some Army Surplus guy is selling a batch (5) of these and the top bid is $10.51 for all 5! heheh...so, a "couple" of bucks might be accurate.
