Maybe I'm slow, or something
but i cannot for the life of me find the weapon models for xatrix
they are all white boxes, i.e the traps, phalanx, ionripper and what not

if someone can kindly point me in the right direction on how to get these i'll be greatly appreciated.

Xatrix was the company that put out one of the official mission packs for Q2, so, being a commercial product, the xatrix models can't be legitimately made freely available. The mission pack can still be found around, and it's always nice to have one of those boxes. If you'd like to go the less-than-legal software side, than I can't direct you to anything specific. Not here anyway.

pretty sure I just turned on model and skin downloads and connected to the server to get mine..

Ditto. Lemme know on mIRC or with a PM if that doesn't work. I can copy my xatrix files and get em to you somehow.

i got it alll situated, but IRC doesnt work for me, says my connection is killed due to a new trojaned machine, but ive ran three antivirus and spybot programs and all came up clean.

if you can find Quake 4 SE it includes Q2 + mission packs. It's worth it for Q2, that's all.

Plus it's cheaper in store vs steam.
