I think that the next version of Java should differentiate between function names based not only on case sensitive names, but the font in which a programmer used to type that function. So if Java.SwINg.OpEnWindOw() is typed in Times New Roman then it will not be considered the same function as Java.SwINg.OpEnWindOw() typed in Arial. There will be an optional flag determined by -<b> in the compiler command line that allows function names to be unique by adding bold text as well. The new IDE environment will be known as: Ja

FAQ:
Q: What happens when I try to compile a Java file that was written in a font that does not exist on my machine?
A: Java is platform independent. So in the case of a Linux machine or a Mac that does not support a font, you will need only to visit java.sun.com/linuxfonts and download the project for the appropriate font. Then download the GCC compiler, compile it, then compile the font libraries that you need in GCC. After this is done you then copy the new font libraries into the /usr, /root, /usr/font, /root/font, /usr/libs/font/, /usr/src/tools, /usr/bin, /usr/java/tools, and /usr/java/bin folders. Then run the install command on each of those locations so that they can set up their relative path and dependencies. That is unless you are using solaris, red hat, or any flavor of debian linux. Those are not yet supported.

Q: Are there varying degrees of case sensitivity? What is the difference between extreme case sensitivity and regular case sensitivity?
A: In the normal world the concept of Case sensitive can only be true or false. In the magical world of Java programming, the laws of the known world may be rearranged at will. Stopping short of bending the space time continuum, the people at Sun have developed a way to make one programming language more case sensitive than another. They call it Java. (because java, JAVA, and JaVa were already reserved words)

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
