it's a port of quake 2 to quake 4, with the blessing of id software.

it's currently not being worked on as the guy developing it is working hard to get his new game out ASAP

This is a Doom 3 mod that's for an old patch of it in the first place...

get a nifty q2 engine with high-res texture & models.  Insta d3 quality.    (can't find an engine with the cool shadows though...)

This is a Doom 3 mod that's for an old patch of it in the first place...

This was originally for doom3 then ported to quake 4. There was a demo released for the d3 version but I don't know that it's still available. The Quake 4 version changeover happened right when the creator started focusing on his own titles (that look pretty fun for fans of Heretic, Hexen, and Painkiller) so most screen shots are still from the d3 version and most descriptions have not been updated.

I would say that the project is officially suspended until we see another update.
