I didn't really know where to put this, but since it was slightly comical in a redneck kinda way, I plopped it here.

I wonder what the exact process was that lead to this genius ( ) discovery. Apparently you can use the heat dry setting on your dishwasher to bake food. Almost sounds like a corny Jeff Foxworthy joke: "If you've ever baked a casserole in the dishwasher on the heat dry setting... you might be a redneck."

If anyone actually has the balls to try this, post your results here please.

No, I'm really not one of these people who wanders and browses aimlessly around the internet like a yuppie at the mall. Yahoo is my start page, it was one of the "featured" news items. Some of those (like the one I posted here) are far too ridiculous and tempting to prevent myself from investigating them.

And why do people insist on ADDING extraneous letters to my player name? People at Vanilla do it all the time. I swear, I think I'm gonna have to change my name to something unquestionably easy to spell, like Al or Bob.

Bacon and mayonnaise? Holy shit, that should come packaged with defibrillator paddles and a do-it-yourself angioplasty kit!

funny!  But the people who posted comments are idiots.  "bet it had a detergent taste" "what a waste of water"???        the dry cycle in a dishwasher works the same as an electric oven.  No water in your over & IF the dishwasher it working properly AND you use a detergent, it's as sterile as the oven. 

I've heard of people wrapping turkeys in clay & baking them in a kiln.  Art teacher @ work says he makes pizza's in his kiln.  I wrap potatoes in lots of tin foil & throw then in a wood stove.  People still cook hotdogs & marshmellows on sticks from the ground & nobody considers that gross.  At least nobody worth mentioning!
