Who are you guys anyway?

I've seen your servers around for a very long time. I've been paying this game since the early 1990s. My early experience was on dialup playing at Mage Warehouse, then discovered the wonderful world of WOD, only later to find the fun of the insane weapons in the LOX world. I became a member of the WOS clan.

We've been having issues with various GSPs and I couldn't help but notice that you folks have an enviable amount of powerful servers with a ping that puts to shame any GSP I've seen.

Are you a clan? A consortium? A group of wealthy gamers bent on world domination?

I asked my fellow clan-mates about you and to paraphrase the response; (Insert the barritone-bass choir you hear every time the Star-wars emporer speaks) that they have been around since quake itself. A mystereous group with unimaginably powerful servers.

I've been digging around and haven't found anything about y'all. Could you point me to a thread or tell me what you're all about?

You can do a search for tastyspleen history for some early info, but the long and short of it is that Quadz graciously hosts some awesome servers for the benefit of the community (and that's all we are, a community), as does [BTF]Gator (the tx.tastyspleen servers). We are not a clan, but we have clans. We are not wealthy, but we have wealth from time to time. Ask Quadz about the world domination bit.
