Thanks, I finally got it compiled.

Code: [Select]====== AprQ2 Initialized ======]map q2dm1------- Loading gamei386.so -------LoadLibrary (./baseq2/gamei386.so): undefined symbol: Com_Error********************ERROR: failed to load game DLL********************And yes, I did put "gamei386.so" in the baseq2 folder. This should really come with better documentation, Quetoo was so much easier to set up
Complaining and using disgruntled smileys is pointless! I am not the author of AprQ2, and after all it is free software. You could, however, contact Maniac...And you should try to read and learn more about how Linux works, I would say.Quetoo may be easier to set up, but it is also a much simpler client, and it doesn't even come with a menu system (though on purpose). And what I dislike most is the missing text rescaling feature. As to the above error:It is well known to me, and it appears to be a new bug introduced since version 1.21 of AprQ2. I already wrote about it in Maniac's forum. So basically you have two options:1) Use an older gamei386.so, and you should not get this error when doing a "map ..." OR "gamemap ..." command.2) Compile version 1.20 of AprQ2 and use it for single player maps, while you use version 1.211 of AprQ2 when playing online games.Hope, this helps.Cheaters-r-Scum
I'm sorry, that was just random thoughts about it that I really shouldn't have posted, I didn't really intend to direct it at you.Hmm, well I really have no interest in playing single player maps or anything, I was only trying to load one to see how the client worked.
