Window mode

anyone know how to unlock the mouse while in window mode? i know hitting esc (menu) does it, but then alls you can really see is the menu, and i was thinking more like having a small window speccin while doin other stuff too (multi-tasking, the road of the geek is much easier when multi-tasking)

You can always go the complicated route (which is the only way I know) and edit all the menu graphics in the main pk2 file and make 'em transparent but then no menu for you!  :(

well i never use the menu so that'd be fine... but im far to lazy for such an extravagant solution

hehe, leads me back to the same problem of not being able to see anything though... i was hoping to find a way to have visual of the whole window so i could spectate people or something while, say working on word or something

yeah Alt+Tab should do it,
if it doesn't work then check your config.cfg for set win_noalttab "0" and make sure it's set to "0" (default).

oddly enough, it is zero, but alt-tab doesnt work... huh, oh well i suppose I'll just have to deal.

EDIT: last night i downloaded r1q2... and it fixed whatever problem I was having... thanks for the help anyways  :)
