How to upgrade to anticheat (Quake 2 tastyspleen)

I have ,since few days,a message at the arrival to tastyspleen (Quake2) who say to upgrade to anticheat....is it necessary???....and how to upgrade if the need is???

Yup, anticheat is not necessary to play at TastySpleen.

However, to use it, you'd most likely be using a fantastic q2 client like r1q2, so it WOULD benefit you.  However, you are free to use whatever you want.
