Tastyspleen InstaTDM server on the fuzz?

I'm getting large amounts of packets lost on this server..

here's what my traceroute looked like:

it was very similar every time I tried it.. seems to lose it on one of the last 2 hops before the server, so it's definitely a bad box in texas somewhere..

I was hoping we could get some rail tdm matches played there soon, so is there anything we can do to fix this?

Yes; there seems to be some sort of problem reaching the tx.tastyspleen.net layeredtech servers.

Hopefully it will clear up.  These servers are graciously provided by [BTF]Gator.  However, I doubt whether he can do anything personally to expedite a solution to this problem.

i know gator recently updated to the latest r1q2 version, could that be it?

update:

It seems to be working fine now.
Netgraph looks much smoother, no red lines either.
ping stayed pretty stable too.

yeah, i have the same issue everyone else has.

Something goes on the fritz every now and then.  i think it is a hop near the servers.  When it is affecting me connecting from FL, people from the north are just fine.  i have the same issues on Tastyspleen sometimes too.  Its just some hop acting badly. 

Nothing anyone can do i figure.  But complain, i try to be sure to cry and whine about if i can.  About the only joy i can have at that point. :/
