crosshairs.zip
After a few hours of clicking, staring and drooling (in other words idiot-therapy) I ended up with this set of 21 crosshairs.
Nothing terribly spectacular as they're basicly just a handful pixels but there might just be something there you'd like to try ingame.
Few instructions for the average Joe:) To edit or make a pakfile use something like
PakScape.
Rename the crosshairs you like to use form the set to ch1, ch2 or ch3. (or ch1.pcx, ch2.pcx, ch3.pcx if you have enabled file extensions). Custom crosshairs can only be read from a 'pics' folder within a pakfile so if you're making a new pak just make a new folder with PakScape, call it pics and copy/paste 3 crosshairs in there. Then save it as pak#. If you want to try out more crosshairs you're going to have to replace them in the pakfile.
If you use the standard 3.20 client you can only use up to 9 .paks, where files from the pak with a higher number will overwrite the files from lower numbered paks. So if for instance if you already have custom crosshairs in pak5.pak then the new ones must be in a pakfile with a higher number. Most newer clients also read .png files, so if you'd like to use a .png crosshair you dont have to rename the .pcx crosshairs. Those clients will automatically use the .png versions if found.

Thx. Personally i dont like big ass distracting xhairs, they 'get in the way', so I tried to keep 'em small.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
