Why am i getting kicked?

I need to know whats going on here, i keep getting kicked for haveing a "modified client" I'm using Gamespy3D. What do i do to fix getting kicked every time I play? It only happens on the tastyspllen servers

Hi,

That's part of q2admin's flaky bot detection.  Sometimes if you get lagged, it can mistake that for a modified client.

It's kind of a pain, but there's currently no way around it.  Is it happening to you a lot?

bummer dewd... i had the same reaction with aprq2.... if you try out nocheat does it still happen?

Even Wallfly gets kick sometime for using a "modified client", which is probably correct.

i hear that art... though earlier today when i was laggine out on mutant, wallfly kept getting kicked.... coincidence pr synchronicity (ok, 1/2 oz of shroom and im damn sure i cant spell  )

yes it happens a lot, every time i play to be exact, not only that, but in every tastysplen server, regardless of if theres 1 or 30 people. oh, and how is it im lagging when the game only has 2 people, and i have 70 ping and the other guy has 100?

Never had it happen on a cable or dsl connection.

Sometimes happens a few times a night on dialup.  Only happens when my ISP goes REALLY funky connection wise.
after the netgraph calms down im good to go,  usually for the rest of the night.
