Help please!!

for some reason, every 3-4 secs my q2 lags, not harshly, but lags a bit, and when i use nc and r1q2 it wont let me switch out of software mode, ne ideas? i didnt switch any settings or anything. oh, and when i use q2a, every 2-3 seconds, it goes to 15fps then back to 120, any ideas?

I fixed the lagging problem (by gettnig rid of the 394 infected spyware files, but do you have ANY idea why it will not let me leave software mode with r1q2 and nocheat?

Woah, thats alot of spyware! 

I would run the r1q2 updater, and get the newest r1gl.

Maybe something busted your opengl? maybe its a driver problem?

Maybe a long shot but could your config's file properties have been set to read-only (during the spyware scan) so it can't save the changes? If not then something may have been screwed up, could be the .dll files in the quake2 folder or maybe even your vid card's opengl driver.

i delete all movie and picture files. it helps alot! also, i also avoid any sexual activity. (usually makes me dizzy, and think somthing is fucked up.)
