- "Many if not ALL of us can do Q2 and survive all the maps to the end. With 2 players against the BOTS, my question is, are there more of them? Are they meaner? More armored?" -In Co-op you don't have the luxury of connecting with your accumulated weapons/ammo/armor etc that you have in the standard SP game. If the level that has been achieved by previous people is Power Plant, for example, and you connect, you start with a blaster. You may not find any weapons on the higher levels since it is assumed by now you have them all (in the SP game). You will find limited health because someone else grabbed it and it doesn't re-spawn. The TEAM aspect is for someone else to throw you a weapon or grenade so you have something, if you have just connected. And using gang-up tactics on enemies instead of being the single hero.My experience before with this, is that usually somebody gets through to the end of the level, but lotsa people die during a level becase of the weapon disadvantage. The point is that its a different mindset from Deathmatch. Its strictly for fun and it needs co-operation to play. Many beginners who are intimidated by DM will play this. For format it could have any of the following:1) Set on HARD skill.2) No cheats (obviously)3) Other Quake variants like the one TooMuchFun suggested.4) Maybe The Reckoning Single Play - much harder than Quake 2.5) P_Kick vote for those insist on killing teamates.6) More monsters added? Sure - Panjoo's the expert here.
4) Maybe The Reckoning Single Play - much harder than Quake 2.
