Bonus trivia point: I named this tune in zero notes one time. Just based on the hiss leading into the studio version.  My friend playing it for me almost fainted from my accuracy. :-)

The beauty of using modern DAW's with virtual instrument drums like Addictive Drums is that you can program the drums beat for beat, cymbal for cymbal, using different velocities for the individual beats to make it sound natural and human. And from what I've been hearing, Motley Crue is probably using pre-recorded drum tracks at their live shows.

No click track there. Not in 1970. That's just standard for-the-era tape hiss that Eddie Kramer, the studio engineer, left on it. Bonham sure as hell didn't need a click anything.  You can hear someone counting it in, with a lot of tape hiss.  Zeppelin left a few real wold gems on their recordings, like the "dying cough" ending of In My Time of Dying.
