cant join irtdm or ETG

I don't know whats happened, i was able to connect to irtdm earlier in the day, when i tried to goto irtdm from ra2-railz i got a message saying "that skin is not allowed here". As far as i know i am using stock skins? unless going to ra2-railz forced a new skin?

Also have I been banned from ETG on IRC?

Its saying i am using a proxy but i am not, im using my normal ISP to connect

I'll check the log. its huge at the moment so it'll take me a bit to pull it down

edit: didn't see anything in the log, but I know I have some cvarbans in place to block usage of the null skin and some others that are small/invisible.

if it boots you again, change your skin in console to male/grunt and put in reconnect. see if that fixes it. maybe the ra2-railz server had some silly skin voted on a team.
I turned off skin voting at one point because some people are super lame about it and just use it to gain an advantage on others.

I had been in the same situation for months. More likely its your ISP 's /ip routing. Seems to be some routing/forwarding issues.

I spoke to admin for ETG and they said my machine may have been infected with some virus, but it only runs in windows where as I am on linux. Anyhow they have removed my ban

make sure you have /firewall off in irc and that your proxy settings are disabled.  they have an automatic system that checks people connecting since a LOT of people like to proxy(who does that?), it could be flagging you somehow.  I'd also try changing the server you connect to for ETG as you're so far away and the connection isn't that great, it could flag you as someone trying to proxy.  I dunno if that made sense, but edit your ETG server to connect to whichever one is closer to you http://www.enterthegame.com/menuitem.asp?ID=46

If its not your system, it may be from your ISP.
IDK how does ETG's checking system works but it has prolly flagged your connection as false positive.

I'd also try changing the server you connect to for ETG as you're so far away and the connection isn't that great, it could flag you as someone trying to proxy.  I dunno if that made sense, but edit your ETG server to connect to whichever one is closer to you

I remember once my ISP had done some routing. Like my tcp was routed on a different IP as versus to my udp. It may be for load balancing purposes.

Should everything else fail, as a last resort, u can prolly use socks5. lots of softwares there that can do that ex. wingate. You can also try socks2http.
