Probably good, if you're actually learning something. We never had that when I was in High School. At least I don't think we did

Yeah, you learn a lot in that class. It's boring as all fuck, though. It also didn't help that I had it first thing in the morning.

and ex.... I was  drunk and probably forgot I wasn't in the Gen. Smack Talk section. But, that doesn't mean what I said wasn't right. You only truly took offense to my words because you've taken such a defeatist stance with this. I'm certain of this, but I apologize for what I said.

To be fair, I was a little hot-headed with my words as well.  I know the point you were trying to get across, math just takes work to get good at, like anything else.  I'm not totally defeatist though - I spent a cool 6 hours pounding away at functions and graph equations today.  Actually learned quite a bit too.

Anyway, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Apparantly there was a back story. From the context of this thread I got "trouble with linear equations" / explanation of factoring higher-order equations. I've always thought solving linear equations was pretty straightforward.
