A general question:

How does a website generate money from traffic? Say I put one up and generate periodic "content" for it,often enough to maintain a reason for people to visit,say,at least once a month. How does one turn traffic into cash? Please explain...thank you!

ad services, you can sign up with google or some other ad company, and place their ads on your site, viewing the site views ads... fractions of a sent per hit for most but it can add up if you get enough traffic...
