New Banana (with troll-face) uploaded wheeeeeee

Hey Everyone!

So, I slightly modified the glorious banana skin (basically created the copies of the 2 .pcx original files: bip.pcx, bip_i.pcx and modified the image) to include a troll face instead of regular face and copied those to Baseq2\players\nana. I am able to select it myself as a separate skin from the regular bip nana skin and able to see it myself if i kill myself and walk over and I can see the icon of it in the statistics, but it seems like whoever joins the server with downloading skins setting on keeps getting errors that server does not have the file and see me as grunt...

Do you need to actually have admins upload the skin to the server? Or this is something to do with the tris.md2 file?

I've attached the 2 pcx files with the troll banana skin. Any help appreciated!


*** What's interesting is when I joined DM today and dude had the regular nana skin (bip.pcx) I saw him as the skin which I modified, which has a different pcx file name (bip_troll.pcx), which is confusing because according to the server error - dude should not have this modified file....

I am not really sure how .md2 files work, but it seems that I see the modified skin I have saved under Baseq2\players\nana instead of the regular bip file on other player on the server for some reason....it kinda makes sense for others not to see the modified skin since it is missing on the server, but why do I see the modified skin when a player on the server is using an original nana (bip.pcx) one

I droped your files in the ftp, now you have to tell quadz and wait for him to synch it!

About your problem, he could see your skin name typing "skins" and if he types skin nana/bip_troll only you will see it, because no one more has the skin.
Or try removing your bip.pcx files and download them again!
