As it has been said time and again, TastySpleen TastyCast is for the community. If there is something new and you think it needs some notoriety, tell us all about it here! Just post what it’s, when it’s happening, why it’s a big deal, and maybe how you would like it promoted.

While we’re on the topic if you want a match casted post here and we’ll see what we can do, but please post a few days before it’s going to happen okay?

I am putting together (or trying to..) a little wsw koth event to try and get some more people interested in the game. it will hopefully have a rather large beginners section at the beginning for all the people that are new to the game, follow by the skill level edging up until all players are used up. you get the idea. If you promote this, please include the channel that will be used: irc.quakenet.org #warsow.na And also include the link for downloading warsow so people that don't yet have the game, but want to try it out can get it easily.

I don't know what the prospects are of getting this covered, due to conflicts with the QuakeAmerica coverage. I'll talk it over with some of the guys and see if perhaps we can work something out. Either way, this sounds like an awesome thing to do and a hell of a lot of fun.

I would like to request some more casual events covered by the tastycast. Up until now you guys seem to have been pretty biased towards the competitive scene, so I was thinking something like 1 or 2 set FFA events a week for newer players or those who just want to have fun.

Casting such an event might be a bit hard, but at the very least setting them up and advertising them would be ok.

When we first started with radio-only stuff, the Sunday Splatterfests turned into combined casual play and podcasts. When we were able to introduce video, we couldn't do that anymore due to the amount of bandwidth being used to push the video. Now, however, since the video is on a dedicated connection, we can totally do this again.

I would love to play in an causal ffa event! I think maybe Thrusdays early evening, Saturday afternoon, or Sunday afternoon (I'm talking pst) would be great times to get an ffa event going! Say three maps and whoever has the most frags wins?

As long as noone would get mad about me being about to hear jehar while playing then I will. Though likely I'll still be fighting for last place.

That's great that you are will to help out and I think if it's an ffa event we could make this really simple and fun! Just have to talk some more to jehar about it when he has the time.
