Help with anti-cheat?

Long story short, I downloaded quake2 after years of not playing, the catch is that I am on a Mac using OS X 10.6.4.  I noticed that I was repeatedly kicked off the tastyspleen server for not running anti-cheat.  In my brief search last night I was unable to find a version for Mac.  Am I out of luck or are there any options for me?

Your subnet most likely includes a player who has anticheat forced,  lucky you.
