Can anyone do this jump? I've heard tell of it, And I think it sounds real tight, If anyone could do this please upload the demo for me?

I've gotten probably a dozen hundred flick rail/rockets resulting in a kill while mid-air doing this jump, only while joking around though..... It's not practical; not from it's difficulty but it's poor risk/reward ratio(predictable/not your best option).

Go to the YA right next to this jump and try djing off the top of the stairs to quad.. I've only done it once.

You mean the ladder? There are no stairs in that part of q2dm3.

Yes, I mean djing off the top of the ladder in the YA area.. no clue why I said stairs. I can DJ off it every few tries but making it there is fairly difficult.

Yes you can but the jump you're referencing on dm1 is a lot easier than the ladder one on dm3(like 100x for me).

Don't you have to lower your FPS to around 27 for that little mini-step jump on DM1 to the rockets/shards you're referring to?  If you try to catch that edge at like 112 (which is what I generally run at) you never can catch it.  I guess the same is required for DJ'ng off the ladder to quad there by YA on DM3?

yeah it's definitely easier when you lower your fps.. i've never had the convenience of having an actual stable fps, so I just go from about 26-31 and see which will work for whatever jump like that. My usual fps varies from about 56-61ish and I could do that outside dm1 jump fine.......i've never liked this jump much though. flarez was the only person in our scene who could really ever use that jump to his advantage anyway.
