Q2Pro client Commands, plz! (damn, it´s hard to find!)

I need client commands for my q2pro, because i don´t know how show my fps, ms, time clock, etc. I also see that maps are more dark, like if I do not usage high textures. But I use hi-textures, but the maps are dark. Anyone have same problem? I was in google but I can´t find it! q2pro is very misterious.

i dug around a bit in the client and its pretty cool :) there is a site that will help you create a config for the client, though i suggest, if you can, use something like r1q2 because http download is completely worth it and q2pro is stuck with udp at 7kbs

while R1Q2 is apparently the "optimal" client,and most "preferred" client of all,you can download all the maps/players/textures and evironment files you'd ever need directly from tastyspleen.net/downloads section.

I personally use APRQ2,which DOES support HTTP downloading,but im so sick of download shit i store the all-players,all-textures,all-maps,and all-envs.zip files on my external hard drive.

Q2pro is HIGHLY configurable ,and if you download the right files you'd never have to worry about HTTP downloading at all,and you can draw certain particle effects only in q2pro(for example;u can disable all the particles for rockets,and nades,bullets,machine/chaingun and shotguns but leave the railtrail particles in effect at the same time)

also: gl_modulate affects only entities,AKA player models,weapons,ammos,armors,etc.

while vid_gamma effects absolutely everything,including the map itself,
and gl_coloredlightmaps affects how the lighting is produced on each map.
If you set it to "0" then the map Q2DM1 ( The Edge) will NOT have ANY orange coloring/lighting in it what so ever,and will be totally grey)

:) those large collections of textures and maps and such from the ts download section doesnt include EVERY map though, stuff like koldduel1 and dkshaft were not in it, them being newer maps and all its perfectly understandable... but yes im not tryin to turn anyone away from q2pro, its fucking AWESOME :) my favorite is that you can separate enviorment ambient from entity ambient

Well, I try coloredlightmaps but don´t work. Is other thing. I see that q2pro is vey poor in conparation with r1q2 or qprq2. This 2 clients are Great! I just use q2pro to see .mvd demos! r1q2, aprq2 and egl must support to mvd demos!

q2pro is really an amazing little client, and even clients like r1q2 dont support features such as separation of enviorment ambient and entity ambient and forcemodel for both male and female skins (awesome for tdm players who dont wanna change it when switching from ffa servers to tdm servers) where q2pro does have such features :) the only down side to q2pro really is no http downloading, and thats the only reason i have stuck with r1q2

and gl_coloredlightmaps 0-1 (supportion fractions such as .5) is not used for brightness really, but to kill down the color coming from the lights so instead of having an ORANGE dm1, you can have a grayscale dm1 or some where in between that looks very nice, this improves visability, thats why i said it, and its a very nice cvar to turn down to .5 or such unless you really love the color orange...

you should set gl_saturation 0

set gl_saturation 1 (float)
Specifies color saturation percentage of world textures. Default value of 1 means identity coloring, value of 0 effectively makes textures monochrome (and speeds up rendering a bit as textures are uploaded at 8 bit per pixel instead of 24).


set gl_modulate_mask 3 (bitmask)
Specifies where gl_modulate cvar applies:

    * 1 - world lightmaps
    * 2 - entity lighting

set gl_modulate 1~xx

i like this features

set gl_drawsky 1 (boolean)
When disabled, sky box is drawn in solid black color.

set cl_disable_particles 0 (bitmask)
Disables rendering of particles for the following effects:

    * 1 - grenade explosions
    * 2 - grenade trails
    * 4 - rocket explosions
    * 8 - rocket trails

set cl_disable_explosions 0 (bitmask)
Disables rendering of animated models for the following effects:

    * 1 - grenade explosions
    * 2 - rocket explosions

set cl_gibs 0/1 Specifies if entities with EF_GIB flag set are drawn.

scr_lag_draw 0/1/2 Toggles drawing of small (48x48 pixels) RTT (round trip time) graph on the screen.

   0 — do not draw graph
        1 — draw transparent graph
        2 — overlay graph on gray background

What´s this?? Occour this when I type in my console to run some map! Any map! Bullshit! I don´t miss my configs! Nothing!
