I noticed that the venue for QuakeCon has changed.... I was wondering, because last year at the Hilton, there are a very large Church group (some sort of Presbyterians I think), that was also having a convention at the same time. It was classic to see all those well-dressed Christians milling about in the lobby, with Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast blasting from the Guitar Hero contest in the next room! It warmed my heart, it did! I used to scare Christians with that very same song back in the 80's! Good stuff!

But alas, I'd put money on that same church group forcing Q-Con out of the Hilton... I've been to many events that have been booted out by church groups (Middle-Eastern/bellydance type events, which the Church also frowns upon)...

Actually I'm pretty sure it's Mary Kay.. but whatever
