is this guy a repeat hacker? as in been caught and told of the rules? (I know, some people are so dumb you have to tell them "no cheating")

well for further proof here's another demo in the railz server,
he's being a little more discreet this time but there's really no denying it,
the way he flails his mouse and moves, typical newcomer, no way hes getting shots like this

Aw, was it necessary to ban him though? I don't want to play with cheaters any more than the next guy, but perhaps the newbies that start out by hacking should be given a chance to play on their own and possibly learn that playing legit can be fun too. Perhaps he's been caught on more than one occasion?

Mainly, the IP was too dynamic.  Forced AC only works with IP subnet masks, not hostnames.

His IP has changed drastically and repeatedly just over the past week.  So we'd have to play catch up with him...

Compounding that issue with egregious deadline pressure at work right now, and I just needed the problem solved. So, hostmask ban was an insta-fix.

(If his IP were more reasonable, I'd have forced AC.)
