New Computer Purchase for me

So how does the system work?  I too just ordered a new pc from Dell, p4 340mhz, 160 gig hd, 2gb ram, 5.1 speakers, 20in flat screen monitor...I am eagerly awaiting it's arrival...I too shipped the whole thing to my work place!

I have been logging onto the xquake server with my roomate's ibm aptiva...which is painfully slow and i get kilt quite a bit by you all!!

I will be getting a new computer in about a month, currently I'm on a p-1 233, 64mb of ram and a 2mb video card (onboard).  :shock:

I should be getting cable in the next few weeks so I'm still on the old computer for xquake, but the new one runs DOOM3 beautifully

AHHH you went with cable? oh well
sbc is gonna be bumping up there speeds again. you can get

currently

1.5/128 plan will change to 1.5/384


the 3.0/384 plan will change to 3.0/512

and the old 6.0/608 is gonna be 6.0/768
which is only 45 a month

how much is cable going to run you? i know they do promos for cheap at first but what will it run you after?

I have not settled on cable yet.  I am using the term "cable" generically until I do get something
At this time im still waiting for American Express to give me the damage from the computer, desk and game
