What is a compiled vertex array and what does it do and why is it not "GL".  Also if anyone knows where a config change can originate during a startup or shutdown it would be greatly appreciated.  I dont think it has to do witht he registry now because I searched it.  I've been over this thing a thousand times in console commands but I don't undersatnd this part.  Every time i play i have to delete the config and I can tell I was succesful wheni can see my cursor,  but it loads in 320 and i dont have the bind to my exe config.  I then go new game load 1024 x768 then change sound up to max quality and then load exe and hit q to jump to server its very annoying an im tired of it at first making the config read only worked but now it does not pls help especially if u did this.

Hey you guys have modified the shit out of your quakes and i know your fuckin with me y dont u just fix this shit because i didnt have the luxury of owning this game in 95 or whenever it came out and I have no foiums to read but this one but all indications point to u lyin bastards god i hate liars.

no im right here. but i dont know how your config would be getting like that all the time maybe rename is and + exec yourconfg.cfg in your start up shortcut??
