Rocket Arena 2 Draft - Signups Closed, BRACKETS POSTED!

Count me in. Not something to be missing for an event especially RA2. what's going on with the teams? who's going to be choosing or will their be captains?

Okay so, I've seen lots of comments and even been asked by many people, how teams are going to be picked. Most worried about fairness and team stacking..

The three/four admins and refs will have discussed and divided players into 3 different groups. better players, medium skilled players, and lower tiered  players. Then a randomizor would be used to create what stands at the moment 10 teams with a high tiered, med, and low tiered players.


By doing such its going to split up the el guys, make it so 3 high tiered players aren't teamed together. That was the whole point of a draft.

30 damn people. You'da told me a couple weeks ago you could've had 30 people signed up for a league, I'da told you you were nuts. I'll tell ya what. If more people sign up and you happen to need one more to make teams even, I guess I could maybe join in, but only if it's necessary.

Yeah signups are done Tuesday night after games, teams will be made sometime Wednesday.


Challonge is a great bracket sight, good for events such as this.

It would be good to know who the 4 admins that would be deciding these brackets and tiers  Sounds like the team captains are going to be doing the majority of the heavy lifting if teams are completely randomized or "Balanced"

admin are going to be myself, Rick, and Adren, Haunted may also have input and will be a Ref for matches. It's all planned there is no need to worry about it.

You can put me down as an alternate to play if you have an off number of people, ie 32 instead of 33...or if people drop out...

Unfortunately, whatever team I'm on will be stacked though...

Irc is super easy to set up ,there are plenty of free versions out there, Kvirc, mirc, xchat(not free, ychat might be the free one)

An admin and ref is almost always present and if we aren't, that's the best way to highlight us and for us to get back to you, easiest place to answer anymore questions or concerns you might have! If you need help on setup just let me know!

As erica has already said, we really need everyone who's participating to come and idle on IRC on ETG in #ra2draft so getting a hold of everyone is easier on us.  Getting a hold of your team and the other team and admins for matches will be MUCH easier if you all are on IRC and are able to communicate.  We would like to do as lil babysitting as possible, so just please help us out here and be easy to contact, or at least check up on the forums at least once a day to keep up with your matches/etc.
