I actually called the fake punt as well. Seconds beforehand I was trying to be optimistic about it "what if it works!?".... But, it ended up being the most poorly executed trick play I've seen in a long time. Georgia's defense was doing well outside adjusting to a QB swap. Should've went with the field position...plus, wasn't it 4th and 9 or something?  :exqueezeme:

Like Sarge said, it's between jokelahoma and the luck eyes. I'm not sure who they're going to pick. Probably Oklahoma, but you never know. Ohio State and Urban Meyer are the committee's #1 favorite possibly. But, Oklahoma is a favorite of theirs also, plus so is Texas; Oklahoma's only loss that they just redeemed in the big12 championship. They'll give it to them I guess.

Georgia vs Ohio State in the Rose bowl?

I still stand by my post above despite the notorious 4th quarter Georgia let down. Being the 3rd best team could be worse, imagine being a tar heel fan :raincloud:

At the worst, Georgia is the team right behind Alabama and Clemson. They're playing great right now. Mid 2nd quarter.

Les Miles I heard accepted a coaching job at Kansas.

I saw that after my post, yeah.

I'm not sure what to think about this. It may be the best option, though. At the very least those 3 will fill the stands for the first time in 2 years, maybe that's what they're aiming for.

Oops, wrong link.

Great. Half of these guys are just Fedora version 2. And you KNOW we're not going to get one of the better ones on that list.

It's the reputation UNC has. Mack Brown made them a top 5 team in the 90's and he asked them for a better training facility; not even an increase in pay. They said no way so he leaves for Texas and wins a national championship. They were also very trigger happy to fire Butch despite the circumstances, so the head coach position isn't as alluring as it was at NC.

Now official. Should've been done sooner. I wonder who UNC will pursue. There has been Less Miles rumors for years, and his kid is a freshman that just started playing on the team.

The teams locked in the playoffs 100% are Alabama and notre dame. Even if Alabama loses to Georgia they're in.

Clemson can lose to Pitt, although they definitely won't. They are 95% locked in.

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Notre Dame
4. Georgia

5. Oklahoma
6. Ohio State
7. UCF
8. Michigan
9. Washington

That's how it could be, but, the committee will probably factor in that UCF lost their star qb and put them at 8... Which I can agree with but I'd prefer them to not be subjective like always.

Georgia will probably lose to Alabama. If that's the case, I hope both Ohio state AND Oklahoma lose as well  :lolsign:

It'll be funny who they decide to choose. Washington? Georgia for an immediate rematch with bama 1 vs 4 seed(maybe not simply because off that)? UCF? haha

North Carolina has been terrible for 2 years straight. Sources say fedora is fired after losing to both State, Duke, and ECU 3 years in a row, plus that embarrassing brawl at the end didn't do him any favors. That fight is the only time they made sports center at least :lolsign:

The only thing I can say in NC's defense is that most of their losses were by 1 possession or way less. Still can't win though. Fedora got Butch Davis's recruits, then he got a 2nd batch of great recruits based off that success. He has a talented team right now, but he's been completely exposed when he doesn't have a dozen individual play makers that win games that have little to do with his coaching.

Damn you Ohio State. Damn you Notre Dame. The refs were very generous to them after USC got the lead.

Yes.

Shapiro is a very articulate guy and can out debate anyone. He's sharp as a tack even if we don't agree with him all the time.

That video embodies what I can't stand what's going on currently. Is it possible to vote blue, but still call out the democrat party for losing their way and being ridiculous?

No, you're a racist Nazi trump supporter.

Oh whatever.  :lolsign:

I don't plan on running my mouth about college bball in here, I only did because they're calling the kid the next Michael Jordan. Normally I wouldn't bother but, it looks like duke's going to roll like bama in football.

This is a college basketball post.

I didn't feel like making a thread for it, but more so informing y'all of what the scene looks like. Duke is #1, although #4 by ranking. They're the best basketball team in a decade. The amount of talent is insane. They legitimately have two top 15 nba players currently on their team. I predict they'll go undefeated except one loss against UNC at the dean dome.

It's nuts how close it was.

Speaking of nuts, how crazy is it that in many aspects the republican party is the MORE reasonable party these days? Keep in mind that's relative, I'm not saying they're reasonable.

When the tea party highjacked the republican party most of them were straight up loony!! How could it get any worse!?

Democrats: "Hold my beer"

 :lolsign:

Very very true. Hadn't thought of it like that before, but... absolutely.

Haha yeah it was a random thought of mine. If I was trying to make a point it would've been this.

So many moderates or people leaning slightly right felt like the Republican party had lost their way including myself. Then this is what the Democrats muster up. They blew it big time.
