Has everything from power sliding back windshield to fold down DVD player in the back cabin. 1 owner (fleet use by CrossFit, hwy miles), no accidents, zero rust, 200k miles. 14 month warranty that covers everything, I got it for 8k. Nicest vehicle I've ever owned haha. High mileage is the only minus, but with it being a yota and having a good warranty I can live with that. Once I polish the headlights it'll look pretty sharp.

So to summarize a long story that is basically out of a story book, this is the guy that was selling me that truck:

https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1995-04-16-1995106066-story.html

He was using an alias, I discovered his true name with a reverse phone directory lookup weeks ago and discovered him to be the Jeffrey Dalmer of car sales fraud. He's mentioned in college textbooks, and you can read up on him in "The Master of Deception", a book available on Amazon. There's a hundred of other things on him just from Google but this is a summary(jail time from Federal DOJ, IRS, multiple states...) :lolsign:

I was pissed. Police report, SC consumer affairs report/complaint, BBB, I contacted the city attorney, county attorney, State attorney general, Lindsey Graham, trey gowdy, SC DMV, etc. to get my deposit back. Normally with a matter as low as $500 they'd want it to be handled civilly, but law enforcement put together criminal charges for me for false advertising. I've been busy with it, but I got it handled.

Now then! Onto the truck I DID purchase today. I went with a fully loaded used 4wd tundra, I'm happy with the decision.

I stumbled upon something that's happening currently. Everyone is broke and getting their shit repo'd from corona. Before I go into that, I'll reference a trick ive heard about from people that work in the repo business. They'll disconnect the battery for their friends so at the auction it's not just wholesale, but "doesn't run" as well because nothing happened when turning the key. Back to what's happening currently, the repo lots are so fucking slammed that they have to move them, a lot of times before they can even get a key for it. This truck was 1 of 400 vehicles without a key and was bought wholesale, doesn't run, and also the owner while it was being towed vindictively keyed the fuck out of it down each side. So it was bought dirt cheap. A friend of a friend who owns a body shop/mini-dealership probably got it for 6-7k. He then only had to pay for materials and paint and fixed all the body work like new. Got a key made, serviced it, detailed it, etc then sold it to me at 13k at maybe 9-10 grand under the blue book price. Man, I'm glad I waited!! If y'all know any repo guys or auction guys HIT EM UP!!! Everything is being auctioned as doesn't run, and in my position I was able to get a deal where me and the seller both made out tremendously.

2015 silverado, clean title 1 owner clean carfax, 4wd, 80k miles is NUTS for 13k. It runs great.  Here's some more pictures:

How was I out of context? I provided none. I said whatever is going on you're handling it poorly. This is obviously true.

You do seem to be handling whatever this is poorly. Ive only skimmed through the posts, but I did notice this:

No reply was requested quadz, in future please do not think or feel that responding to me is in any way anything that you need to or should do at any particular time or at any time at all.

Whatever blame you're placing on people for whatever that I don't care about, you gotta be crazy if you think saying and acting like that to quadz is going to benefit you at all.

I'm unfamiliar with xatrix, but the traps sound even lamer than that aspect in tdm. TDM is funny and kind of player oriented. Not to go off on a tangent but I'll explain my views. I really never saw myself as one of those players which is the only reason why I can point this out, although you're still 100% right about tdm. At least for me there was a stark contrast in what's happening vs the two guys I've played the most in my life (adrenaline and playboy) opposed to the snoozefests that frequently occurred. There was no hoarding items because it would be a waste of valuable time. Item denial is a far more relevant strategy(the traps seem particularly bad to me, because there probably isn't a skillful/viable way to combat the lameness, in turn adding a fun dimension to it). The mindset in a nutshell would be, "Ok, playboy is just as fast as me, going on his route he has time to grab one item. Instead of me collecting an item I will be extremely quick and position myself with an angle to hit him at said item". I point out "as fast" because when two people are of the same good speed and movements, the match becomes dictated by constant subtle instances where he's thinking 'if I'm a half a second faster, he won't get that shot off, and paralleled to me if I'm a half second faster I will get that shot off.' This would just be happening non-stop, a fast game of chess. Then there's many players who think it's just as smart to camp the whole time, collect/hoard items, and are scared to interact....which has way less depth, fun, less watchable, etc. It makes them more predictable too. I think players from different mods would definitely see the difference in 'watchability'. Adrenaline told me not long ago that I read him better than anyone else, as in this whole 'fast paced game of chess' becomes predictable, so he had to deliberately start doing dumb things to throw me off. Do not take that as me tooting me own horn, I was surprised and laughed at it.

I honestly think vae has always had the power to beat the better players. He should have. We've always seen the potential, but it was wasted. If you combine the ego/attitude with the very defensive(limited) play style it causes a plateau, and also causes one to be far better on some maps than others, hence the map complaints.

Attitude matters. There are many times as I was improving myself that I could've squeaked out a win against someone better than me by being lame as hell. Instead, I felt that if I'm going to beat my opponent I gotta truly beat them. It applies in reverse to players from another mod, I'd think they'd be fine with someone truly beating them even if they get smashed, opposed to losing against someone who hoards all the items and camps. In tdm players cases, the players better than you respect you for it, you play and practice more, and you benefit by improving faster. Fader is the other young buck example, but the complete opposite. He could've played way smarter at times. It was actually too much of the opposite and had other issues, but he'd go all in and was very fast, and his improvement curve in turn was sharper than vae's.

Boy I did go off on a tangent. It's nostalgic to talk about it.

Here is a little .22 I bought for a project awhile back. I'm about to be without work for 5-6 weeks so I'll have time for it. I'm going to tap the inside of the barrel to get a threaded tip on it, then I'll order one of those $30 mini suppressors off Amazon. Got quite a bit of 32 grain hollow point rounds and I'll set up something with 3/4 inch ply behind it maybe(trees behind that). If I'm shooting at something sustainable with that behind it the destruction should be nice with hollow points and they shouldn't go through everything. That way I'll have that coupled with the crossbow for some fun target shooting in the yard without pissing off neighbors.

Had a little bit of downtime at work and was able to drive to my house for the day. Hadn't been there in a couple weeks so I had time to open up my crossbow and assemble it. Got a nice huge crossbow target. Amazon has shit for so cheap compared to the outfitting and sporting goods stores.

focalor said something about me taking the scepter. i remember that shit!

I don't really know the entire context of that "taking the scepter" remark, but it sounds mildly familiar, and if I had to guess, that was probably my way of saying you were the new form of "crazy" in the absence of spawngirl, particularly for some of your hack accusations about things like dodgebots, which I found to be kinda humorous honestly. We treated you cruelly for it at times, and I apologize if I ever acted like a total dick to you. But many times, it wasn't meant out of meanness, it was just me having fun poking at you, like the nazi tattoo picture I remember doing that time, lol. But so it's clear, I'll repeat that I do apologize for all my past behavior towards you. Sometimes it went too far, and I was a dick (still AM a dick, but I'm trying), and I shouldn't have treated you that way.

Even still... not gonna bullshit you,... there were some old posts where you said things about being so great at this game, knowing so much about it, just some really ego-laden stuff, and that's what got so many people against you in the first place. Just my perspective, not sure if you were ever aware of that, but it is what it is. The ego stuff is what got everyone on you, and I jumped on the bandwagon later. But I don't see you doing that anymore, so no reason to continue that game. However, if you'll notice someone like Vae... he STILL continues that whole over-inflated ego bullshit, and that's why I have no use for a little fucking punk like him, and have no problem treating him like shit and talking to him like the piece of shit that he is. If he ever changes, my attitude towards him will likely change as well. But until then - Fuck that guy.

Haha looking back the golgo stuff and going back to the jaquio days was definitely more humorous than bothersome. Agreed, it was the mentality of thinking he was a pro that got everyone on him. But at the same time I take half the blame for my interactions with him and apologize as well. I assume golgo looks back and wishes he was trolling and not serious with his past rhetoric, but I and others didn't need to go out of our way to bash him. As one of the better tdm players and a dick myself, the dodge bot guy accusing me of cheating always was like serving me 5 course meal on a silver platter   :dohdohdoh:

At least I didn't do any of the pictures lol.

As for vae I'd enjoy seeing improvement in his past flaws. I'd be happy for him. Recently when I kinda called him out in that demo thread I found myself thinking "Wait.... What if vae's overall improvement in character isn't due to him 'growing up'? What if it's just the fact that no one better than him plays anymore so he has nothing to rage over?"  :lolsign:

As for spawngirl, I really wasn't involved in that stink but as an observer she did seem particularly bothersome. Quadz can be a forgiving guy but it's come to bite him in the ass numerous times. Still if there's a good indicator that you will no longer be a nuisance and you acknowledge whatever you did in the past you have a shot. Which is saying something about him, because the amount of crap people have put him through while paying to keep this community afloat is unfortunate. He is the last person who should have to deal with that stupid shit. Ya gotta have some patience and put genuine effort into demonstrating you aren't an idiot anymore. Not true.douchebag's endless trolling and shmoozing about being reformed.

It makes it more affordable! Add a 2 inch lift, so it looks NORMAL, then the fugliness improves. With normal looking clearance it's way better.

Regarding miles, I've come across 20 for sale in a couple days all over 300k miles. There's forums with threads "the 400k mile club/thread" and even some 500's. Everyone says the same thing: if you don't tow anything and change your diff fluid every 30k miles, your tranny should be ok and your rear differential should only go out ONCE. It's what people slack on the most with, so that's problem #2 after tranny with them. Those ARE avoidable, though, but the 4wd being auto/sensor has kinda killed it for me. I said no WONDER you have to be anal with the special Honda diff fluid every 30k miles. I use 4wd multiple times a day(zero exaggeration) so for me like 6k miles for all I know (ugh). So that was a deal breaker for me. 300k miles is very doable for them, though. Problem is previous owners and it'll be a dice roll to some degree. It's not what I'm leaning on anymore solely because of the 4wd though. It took reading the owners manual wondering how TF you put it in 4 to find out everything.
