I'm probably looking forward to this season more so than normal. Not just to see what NC can muster up when they're sitting in the best situation they've been in a LONG time, but for some entertainment amongst all this quarantine bullshit. I couldn't help but glance at tickets even though I don't plan on buying any. It would be nice if shit drastically improves and there's been major progress in treatments, though.

It's cool to see UNC getting some outside attention though. I saw people projecting that they'd meat Clemson in the ACC championship game undefeated even. People never say crap like that, lol. That would be nuts if that happened.

I was debating that too. I settled on it referring to Georgia tending to settle for FG's. I've seen it in a couple games last year, but nothing terrible. Looks like a gator fan made that haha. Mainly I was just bumping the thread.

This is the current SP+ forecast of teams favored by double digits against the average FBS value:

I hope Miami, FSU, and VA tech can put something together. Weird that Louisville isn't on there, and Virginia to a degree. Apparently louisville is supposed to be the 3rd best acc team following NC next season...according to just about every analyst/writer. I have no idea why, but I just keep seeing it.

I literally just read quadz's review of the expanse to my wife. I watched it on my own while away at work months ago,  and season 4 when it came out. I keep telling everyone it's my favorite ive seen in awhile but it seems no one follows my recommendation to watch it  :lolsign:

We're about to finish episode 8 of season 4(new season) of the last kingdom. It's decent mostly due to the political game of thrones-ish aspect. It's based in the post-Germanic tribes era in the UK. Varying sects of anglo-saxons and pagans("the danes").

Side note: I was disappointed in how Outlander's new season concluded.

The expanse is actually one of my favorites. I just had already finished it before "quarantine steaming". I ended up getting hooked. I actually just got done with a conversation with my mom trying to convince her to watch it and showing her where it was at on prime, all she wants to do is watch Outlander and jack ryan reruns though  :dohdohdoh: After I finished expanse I tried to watch altered carbon but couldn't get into it. Watched 6 episodes maybe. I watched the boys too when it came out, but by myself. A lot of what I watch is limited to assuming kids will be in the room listening.

The expanse, then Outlander, then probably the last kingdom out of newer ones are my favorites. I like scifi and after the expense I watched a couple other mini series like night flyer on Netflix but nothing to really recommend.

You'll like Outlander once ya give it a couple episodes foc it's well written, especially the first couple seasons.

We watched the latest season of outlander on Starz when it came out, and we're most of the way through the new season of the last kingdom on Netflix. Outlander is based off an excellent book series, similar to game of thrones, just not in story line. It's a quality series.

We also watched how the arrow concluded. The superhero shows can get a bit cheesey but that one is one of the better ones. Daredevil comes to mind also, that one has a decent story line. Probably because they're more realistic than the other corny ones (the arrow is Archer/hand to hand combat dude, Daredevil is a bind guy who trained in combat and 'heightened' his other senses). Both are watchable.

Halfway interesting to see. Tied in 2nd is the "oldest rivalry in the deep South" and "the oldest rivalry in the South". Georgia-auburn, a far more high profile matchup than NC-Virginia, I think was claiming the oldest rivalry in the South but had to adjust the name a tad because I guess NC VA beats them by a hair technically(probably, I dunno). I won't bother looking it up, but I believe NC was the first public college in the United States.

It is cool to see both NC and Virginia both doing well though and with good coaches. Or well, VIRGINIA did well with a 9-3 season last year, relative to the norm for them. UNC everyone just THINKS will do well for the next 2-3 years but that's yet to be seen.

Has everything from power sliding back windshield to fold down DVD player in the back cabin. 1 owner (fleet use by CrossFit, hwy miles), no accidents, zero rust, 200k miles. 14 month warranty that covers everything, I got it for 8k. Nicest vehicle I've ever owned haha. High mileage is the only minus, but with it being a yota and having a good warranty I can live with that. Once I polish the headlights it'll look pretty sharp.

So to summarize a long story that is basically out of a story book, this is the guy that was selling me that truck:

https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1995-04-16-1995106066-story.html

He was using an alias, I discovered his true name with a reverse phone directory lookup weeks ago and discovered him to be the Jeffrey Dalmer of car sales fraud. He's mentioned in college textbooks, and you can read up on him in "The Master of Deception", a book available on Amazon. There's a hundred of other things on him just from Google but this is a summary(jail time from Federal DOJ, IRS, multiple states...) :lolsign:

I was pissed. Police report, SC consumer affairs report/complaint, BBB, I contacted the city attorney, county attorney, State attorney general, Lindsey Graham, trey gowdy, SC DMV, etc. to get my deposit back. Normally with a matter as low as $500 they'd want it to be handled civilly, but law enforcement put together criminal charges for me for false advertising. I've been busy with it, but I got it handled.

Now then! Onto the truck I DID purchase today. I went with a fully loaded used 4wd tundra, I'm happy with the decision.

I stumbled upon something that's happening currently. Everyone is broke and getting their shit repo'd from corona. Before I go into that, I'll reference a trick ive heard about from people that work in the repo business. They'll disconnect the battery for their friends so at the auction it's not just wholesale, but "doesn't run" as well because nothing happened when turning the key. Back to what's happening currently, the repo lots are so fucking slammed that they have to move them, a lot of times before they can even get a key for it. This truck was 1 of 400 vehicles without a key and was bought wholesale, doesn't run, and also the owner while it was being towed vindictively keyed the fuck out of it down each side. So it was bought dirt cheap. A friend of a friend who owns a body shop/mini-dealership probably got it for 6-7k. He then only had to pay for materials and paint and fixed all the body work like new. Got a key made, serviced it, detailed it, etc then sold it to me at 13k at maybe 9-10 grand under the blue book price. Man, I'm glad I waited!! If y'all know any repo guys or auction guys HIT EM UP!!! Everything is being auctioned as doesn't run, and in my position I was able to get a deal where me and the seller both made out tremendously.

2015 silverado, clean title 1 owner clean carfax, 4wd, 80k miles is NUTS for 13k. It runs great.  Here's some more pictures:

How was I out of context? I provided none. I said whatever is going on you're handling it poorly. This is obviously true.

You do seem to be handling whatever this is poorly. Ive only skimmed through the posts, but I did notice this:

Whatever blame you're placing on people for whatever that I don't care about, you gotta be crazy if you think saying and acting like that to quadz is going to benefit you at all.
