Quake / Megaman Deathmatch 8-bit: New mod for DOOM

This mod just got released recently. I've only played it on two maps but I found it to be pretty fun. I'd recommend it for others to try out, even if you don't like DOOM.

I like the idea but I think it's too strict. You could avoid punishments all together and discourage aliasing if there was a way to look up a player's common alias while they're on a server. Sorta like how aclist works. That would be nice.

Anyone noticing how slow the page that shows the servers of tastyspleen (list.cgi) is? It's the only page that's slow for me on TS and it takes like 25 seconds to load for some reason.

Trouble Shooting / Can't load mods offline

I can't seem to load mods offline. Whenever I use the game "" cvar and load a specific mod map, the game always loads up as singleplayer. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here or missing.

L4m3r Demos / Cheater on vanilla

I just noticed some guy named tomek on vanilla tonight was using some hacks. At first I didn't notice that he was, but then I specced him cuz he's a hpb getting some crazy shots, and I never heard of him before. When I watched him play, it became quite apparent that he was using a wallhack and aimbot, because the shots and his overall play was as if he had 15 ping and not 260.

Quake / Skin help...

How do I make it so that only one skin for Athena and Grunt show up in my games? I've done this before but I can't remember how I did.

I tried copying and pasting one skin en mass, then renaming the filenames, but I'm not sure if it works. Some models turned invisible when I tried that.

Quake / How come no one plays CTF?

Is there any reason why? Does it play badly in Q2? I always wanted to try a casual game of CTF, but usually I never see enough people for 3v3 or 4v4, on the CTF server.
