woooooo slammed down about 3 40'oz of 211 tonight on top of about 5 bud lights-- im pretty fuckin smashed

From my experience, the only way TO drink a 40 oz is to slam it back as fast as possible, otherwise it becomes room temperature half way through it. I usually started off drinking 12 oz singles to get the stomach primed. Then when those ran out, I could slam back a 40 oz or two at breakneck speed in order to finish myself off without upchucking any excess foamage.

Ya, Firefox is great in so many different ways but it has little bugs like these--I can't use firefox myself because if I do half the media sites I visit won't play videos properly.

pr0ns FTW!!!1!

There's a whole host of other Planet of the Apes movies out there too. They seemed to get progressively weirder though. None were as good as the first. ...although I'm hesitant to call a movie with Charlton Heston "good". He's been in several good movies, but I wouldn't really call his brand of acting good, just like I wouldn't call many actors of that era "good". For example, Humphrey Bogart. Many think that Casa Blanca was a terrific movie, (I do too to some extent) but I've always thought Humphrey Bogart was very over-rated as an actor.

LMAO!

HOLY SHIT YES! Aimbot for sure. Fuckin' funny too. At one point the damn thing starts targeting multiple people with the blaster. He goes from shooting at one guy right on to shooting someone else, then back to the first guy again.

Religion, and the Changing Moral Zeitgeist / Re: Ye Religion Thread
« on: April 08, 2008, 04:43:00 AM »
I try to evade religious discussions because it's usually just a question of opinions, and many are not willing to agree to disagree. They just want to continue on and on in a pointless eternal circle of logic versus faith-based ideals, which are just about as compatible as Hank Williams Jr. fans and gay pride parades.

This is for the Xtian dumbass noob by the player name of "rick" on the vanilla server earlier this morning.

Of course, I've heard this hollywood fantasy of Satanic panic that Christian fundamentalists buy into several times before, it's nothing new to me. But when someone wants to spread this around as the unquestionable truth in my presence, I take offense to it.

First, he claimed that one of the basic tenets of Satanism which is written in The Satanic Bible is the phrase "Do what thou wilt", which he interpreted to mean "Do whatever you want". I won't argue exactly what that means. Why? Because it's not IN the Satanic Bible, which you adamantly claimed it was. I challenge ANYONE to locate those exact words in the Satanic Bible. It's not there. It is a phrase written by Alister Crowley, the founder of Thelema, and Thelema IS NOT SATANISM. Alister Crowley was a drug-addled marshmellow head incapable of rational thought processes most of the time. I will not attempt to expound upon the meaning of that phrase, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law".

Second, and in conjunction with the first point he claimed, he claimed that it is a regular practice of Satanism to kill children, and to generally commit ANY unlawful act. Not true. As stated in the 11 Satanic Rules of the Earth, most unlawful acts are clearly NOT in line with basic tenets of Satanism.

Rick, I have read your bible. Have you read mine? Apparently you haven't. Don't assume you know a fucking thing about what I do and what I may or may not believe. Fuck you very much, sir.

down seems more like pink floyd to me, nice reefer smoking music

For certain. Down II included the small instrumental piece called "Doobinterlude"...

...as well as the song "Perfection of the Seed", a song about pot, the people who smoke it, and the people who grow it.

Back when I used to chief it up daily, that was one of my favorite albums to put on while firing up the one footer. If I was smoking and drinking, I'd put on Black Label Society - Alcohol Fueled Brewtality Live disc2. That disc was an extra 5 bonus previously unreleased studio songs, some mellow mostly acoustic stuff slightly reminiscient of Zakk Wylde's solo album, Book of Shadows.

it would be very dissapointing if you stepped down.

kind of like Bush getting elected again

 :sorry:

That's assuming that he was actually elected the last time, which is still pretty debatable.

A third term of Bush.... yargh!!! I'd rather repeatedly slam my balls in a car door!

Metal. Not Metalcore.
So by that logic... you're saying that death metal isn't "metal" either?

As of lately I've been having a real problem with metalcore bands. I feel like it's turning into butt rock. They need to stop bleeding out their 'vadges' and start shoving knives up 'vadges'

My point was basically if it's too hard to just be considered "hard rock", then it falls into the catch-all "metal" category. It's getting hard to classify though. I guess I'd lump a band like Soundgarden into hard rock, even though quite a bit of their music was pretty metal. The "grunge" category tends to do that. The way I see it, grunge and alternative borrowed (or STOLE and PERVERTED, *grumble grumble, fuckin' bastards, grumble grumble*) the heavily distorted guitars of the metal genre, subtracted the evil and dark subject matter of most metal, and called it something new. Nirvana for example. With that guitar tone, you could easily play a minor scale riff pattern and get metal. I haven't kept up with the metal sub-genre classifications as of late, I probably wouldn't know what metalcore is if I heard it. Describe it and give a few bands that exemplify that description.
I left out Pantera yet included Down. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate their music, I just find Down's style and sound a little more aesthetically appealing.

 :lolsign:

Down II wasn't the same kind of metal that Pantera always brought. It was more like stoner-metal. They included a lot of different unconventional instruments on that album, lap steel guitars, organs, acoustic guitars. Some of it had a bayou blues feel to it, even a few elements of jazz fusion. Just made for some interesting and expressive songs. That album came on the heels of Phil Anselmo getting clean from heroin, I thought he put a lot of soul into those songs, some his best lyrical work ever in my opinion. I've heard a little bit from the latest Down III, but I've yet to buy it. From what I've heard, it's a little different from II, and still pretty progressive.

how could anyone leave out Pantera

 :ban:

Eh, I left out Pantera yet included Down. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate their music, I just find Down's style and sound a little more aesthetically appealing. But Superjoint Ritual.... hmmm... seemed like all the songs sounded the same on the first album. The second album was a slight improvement, but still didn't break any ground that I found to be overly interesting like Down II.

I ain't complaining about it. Apparently that's the point of that of that particular map (although I hesitate to qualify that "map" as such by using the word map   :D) I would assume the only way to stop a person in that position would be to either crowd them as they fire to cause them to take damage or fire a quick shot at the button on the wall that makes the spiked ceiling lower. Once you stopped, I figured I'd try the same strategy, but wasnt able to collect more ammo.  :dohdohdoh:

LMAO, yeah, I was Serpent Christ. It was just a little tiny room with a hodge-podge of weapons. You managed to get the BFG and fire it in perfect time to where when anyone spawned you instantly popped them like a grape and picked up more ammo and health for the next shot. A shit map for sure.
