What iD used to model the IMPs in Doom3

I will never look at another bird the same again.

Parrots are kinda strange like that. Some of them will pluck their feathers out WITHOUT having that disease, they can sometimes do it because of depression or neglect. My cockatoo did for a while. I used to have another dog, a female boxer, that he was kind of attached to. I used to put him down on the floor with her and he'd chase her around, they'd play together. She started getting these seizures that would make her collapse into a coma-like state for a while. She eventually fell into one and never came out. When she died, my bird got so depressed that he started plucking his feathers. He didn't look quite THAT bad, but it was pretty close.

You should see what cockatoos look like when they are babies before they have feathers. They look like little aliens.

I just adopted a new cat. I think. A 7 to 9 month old Maine Coon cat wandered out of the woods and started living under my deck. It’s at the vet now getting checked out and seeing if anyone reported it lost. If all goes well, it will be cat # 6. His name is Martini. Will post a picture when he comes home.  :welcome:

IT'S THE CRAZY CAT GUY!

...actually, I think as long as you can remember each one of their names, you might only be considered the "borderline psychotic cat guy".

Hard work, indeed. I did some fishing at the pond behind my house. I caught all of these last night in a little over an hour.

Black Transvestite Rappers!

It's okay, don't feel bad. I had no idea what "RPM" on the dashboard of my truck meant until someone finally told me it stood for Rampaging Prime Ministers.  :dohdohdoh:

Yeah, he's a talker. He doesn't always learn exactly what you want him to though. For a while he was telling everyone "shut up, prick!", because I used to say that to my cockatoo when he'd scream constantly. It's kinda funny, the cockatoo will scream, and he'll reply with a "shut up!" or a "hush!" or a "be quiet!". He even talks to the dog, "Abby! Abby! Come here." She'll turn and look around thinking it was a person calling her. He tells her "bad dog!". He makes gun noises when I go in there to feed him. Sometimes he starts mocking the cockatoo screaming which is a fucking joy. Annoyance in STEREO!

Q:

Who's Rick?

 :???:

A:
This is for the Xtian dumbass noob by the player name of "rick" on the vanilla server earlier this morning.

As far as I know, just your average everyday member of the herd who practices "convenient Christianity" and believes that he knows far more about the Holy Bible than I do simply because he says it's his religion. The type that will profess faith and preach it like a seasoned servant of God when it serves his own purpose of boosting his own self-image. I'm sure Jehovah is impressed when these people can remember his teachings just long enough to gain the authority to tell someone else how worthless they are. In the words of Tony Montana, "You need people like me so you can point your fingers and say, 'There's the bad guy!'"

Quality... not quantity

I disagree.

Busch > Budweiser.

I disagree.

Paulaner Hefeweissen > Busch = Budweiser

furthermore...

1/2 a fifth of Smirnoff no.57 100 proof + 1/2 a fifth of Jack Daniels = tilt-a-whirl vision

tilt-a-whirl vision + more drinking + time = projectile vomiting

and...

Dos Tiranos mezcal alone + 1 day to sober up and allow for the hangover to set in = praying for death

Trouble Shooting / Re: Why I will never
« on: April 26, 2008, 01:08:47 PM »
Maybe it will, dunno. I don't use that machine very much anymore. It's OS is Win98. It's basically only my music studio anymore. Occasionally I'll use it to play some older games that won't seem to run on XP. Which is REEEEEEALLY fucked up in my opinion. I managed to track down the Redneck Rampage cuss pack add-on online a while back. Redneck Rampage installed, but wouldn't run, the window it opened the game in just minimized and said "inactive". It's basically a DOS program. Eh, oh well.

I really don't need the floppy drive anyway. If it doesn't work correctly anymore, it's not going to break my heart. I have a CD-RW drive in there for backing up and moving files anyway.

No. As you mentioned, I believe he is good people even if he doesn't act like it all the time. Like I said before, sometimes he's impulsive in his choice of words. You can't deny that you have been same way.

it's like 1998 all over again, isn't it?  A decade ago the world was going to end because all computers WERE going to crash, guarantied.  Not the internet is going to crash.  WTF?

it could be said that getting rid of AT&T would solve the problem.  Eliminate a company that uses a good chunk of the bandwidth in the world & you have that bandwidth free.  Cell phones & the like use up a good chunk ya know.  :)

Throwing a big switch and shutting down AT&T won't solve this "problem" (...and I emphasize the quotes). Apparently, their equipment which brings connectivity to the internet is becoming used more and more, and AT&T doesn't have the money to expand their networking capacity to allow for the larger transmissions of data that comes along with more and more people using higher speed broadband connections. According to THEM, the demand on their network equipment will eventually become so great that they won't have the ability to provide service to everyone. The system will become overloaded and crash, leaving all of the world in complete and total internet darkness!  :raincloud:

This is why I call it bullshit. When a company reaquires all of it's old sub-companies, obviously they have a large bank account. A company is not going to shell out that much cash if they don't anticipate making a sufficient profit to make such a move worth their while. There are more than enough people paying AT&T (in one form or another) for service to continue to run and upgrade the services they provide.

Remember what the government said after Hurricane Katrina? The price of gasoline is rising because the pumping station is damaged. Well.... prices are continuing to rise. Several other "reasons" have been given as to why this is happening.

Appears to me as though we are entering an era in which corporations will assume the role of government, something which was supposed to be prevented by anti-trust laws. Keeping these giant corporations fat, happy, and afloat will be the primary economic goal. All other economic problems (including the economic woes of the masses of middle-class) will be subordinate to those interests.

it's not like if he took the time to post a REAL resume that was both TRUE and IMPRESSIVE that people still wouldn't call it bullshit.

The prophecy is fulfilled! :jesus:
