Community Events / TS500 2019!
« on: December 09, 2019, 04:51:13 PM »
It's back, and I hope you are too!

For those who are unfamiliar, the TS500 is a 500-fraglimit FFA held on a map large enough to contain a player count large enough to justify this madness. No signups, brackets, or any nonsense - just get in and get playing!

DATE: Dec 15 @ 7pm ET
MAP: predm1

See you there, and make sure to use the shitter beforehand.

Eyooo - it's been a while since we've seen a lot of bodies on the perennial mutant server, so a few of us BTF dudes are going to pile in there and hope the sweet smell of gibs attracts others.

As far as joining, there's nothing to it, it's the default port on We're thinking of starting around 8est and going until we've seen every map on the server (except match1).

So yeah, be there or be a convex ngon.

Quake / Announcement: Quake II 20th Anniversary Duel Cup Series
« on: September 05, 2017, 03:19:22 PM »

Starting on the 16th of September, we'll be running 3 weeks of back-to-back NA/EU duel cups! Signups are below, and everything will be covered live on
I'll be attempting to put together some funds for each week's top3 - I'm down on income at the moment, so that may turn into a donation drive. - EU Week 2 Signups - NA Week 2 Signups

Double Elim
If we have more than 16 players, UB matches until UB Semis will be Bo1
Grand Final will be played in a 2xBo3 format.

Server settings:
OpenTDM, all fixes.
10 minutes, 2min OT
Powerups OFF
Tastyspleen/Packetflinger will be used in NA, EDL allowed servers used in EU.

Map Pool:

Map Picks:
High seed picks first, then low seed. Remaining map is low toss/high toss.

Match Streaming:
One server will be selected for streaming matches over the course of the cup. An admin will coordinate match delays in order to secure matches in this server back-to-back. If you are asked to delay for this reason, please comply. Other servers may be streamed in order to meet latency demands.

Prize Distribution:
1st Place Week 1: $50 USD
1st Place Week 2: $50 USD
1st Place Week 3: $100 USD

Additional prizemoney may be donated to - 100% of donations will go directly to the next week's prize pool, in a 50/35/15 split once the pool reaches more than $100 USD.

Yup! as per usual. The site is undergoing some uh, maintenance, but the twitch page has been the de facto landing site for a while.

I won't even count how many years it's been since the last one, but seeing Q2 has gotten the big 20, it's about damn time. Deets below.

Get in here!

Server: (or type `GOTO TS500` from any Q2 server where WallFly is present)
Map: city64
Fraglimit: 500
Timelimit: none (usually takes about 90 minutes)
Gametype: Standard FFA, first to 500 wins
When: Saturday, June 24th, 8 PM Eastern (5 PM Pacific, 1 AM London)
Time Zone Calculator:,720,cn3

Haven't played Q2 in awhile?

For Windows users, we have Elysium's "1-click" installer at which will get you back online with Q2 in a snap.

I would urge anyone wanting to go to, well, go. Even if you didn't get into the BYOC, there are the first-come-first-serve stations that can be signed up for. My understand is that once you're signed up, some accommodation will be made to match your usage time with your bracket match. Also, side tourneys at the hotel/my place. :D It's huge that we're getting this prize pool, and I want to see as many familiar faces in the running as possible.

Worksforme +1

Count me in for coverage! What time were you rolling?

Well yeah, just watch it like this!

Very cool. I highly encourage you to check out the current RA2 nights, as it's still fairly active. Had *most* of a tournament a few months back as well.
