I wanted to share a section of youtube i think lots of people here might be interested in and it revolves around religious debate.

Speakers' Corner is an area where open-air public speaking, debate, and discussion are allowed. The original and best known is in the northeast corner of Hyde Park in London, England.

I have been watching these videos from speakers corner for about a year now, and popular channels include Soco Films, EfDawah...

names like hatun, bob, apostate prophet... ali dawah, hijab, etc christian prince LOL, this guy is a bomb for islam...

It is fascinating and really interesting to watch and understand the depth that these religious apologists get into when they debate and argue and fight over religion. A couple months ago a woman was almost knifed to death for wearing t shirts about muhammad and criticizing islam and it was caught on camera.

I thought i would share this, and include a video. Its really addicting...you might learn new things you may never have known as well...

Over the last year I have been watching video's on youtube related to police misconduct and at the forefront are videos regarding the right to take out your camera and video record or take pictures of the government, whether it be government employees, government facilities, or law enforcement.

I have been absolutely blown away by what the video's depict and these video's have totally changed my perception of what police officers really are and what is going on in the united states of america.

All of the allegations about living in a police state may seem like hyperbole but after watching these videos it is clear that something is really wrong in america.

I invite all of you to scour youtube by simply typing 1st amendment audit and watching the interactions. While a minority of these video's are performed by citizens trying to instigate officers for a lawsuit, the vast majority of the video's depict over reactions, civil rights violations and a flagrant disregard of the law.

The video's delve into citizens rights during a police encounter, for instance, do you have to identify yourself to an officer on public property if you have committed no crime? Do you have the right to record in police stations, libraries, city hall, the united states post office? When can an officer detain you? Was their detainment / arrest illegal?

It really is fascinating the more videos that i have watched, the more addicting it becomes. Americans from sea to shining sea are going out in force auditing police officers and taking back our civil rights while placing officers in check with the constitution.

There is a grass roots movement gaining traction, and if you are interested, some youtube channels to look at that do a good job are: News Now Houston. Jonny five 0, James Freeman, and News Now Patrick, News Now California, San Juaquin Valley Transparency, and High Desert Community Watch.

Ill post a video every now and again, it really is fascinating. The police are legally allowed to lie to you, and it is amazing watching police lying to identify you vs citizens knowing their rights and stopping them.

Since Kim Jong Un is the driving story of the century, i figured we needed a thread just for his special self. The past presidents of the united states have followed a policy of sanctions and diplomacy, leading the rogue leader to posses an arsenal of nuclear weapons.

With the election of trump, the rhetoric and the danger has escalated to levels previously unseen before.

I wanted to make a poll to see what this community thinks should happen..

I am for easing tension and establishing normal relations with kim jong. He is a lunatic, but i would rather save millions of lives.

So this guy on youtube created his channel almost 10 years ago, im surprised i havent made a thread about this, but he is one of the funniest fuckers i have ever listened to. His prank calls are unbelievably funny, and his subscribers has grown to over 4 million now. He throws around 10 voice accents and calls up anyone and everyone, from hookers to walmart, from russia to india. Ill post his very first couple asian prank calls. These two pranks made me fucking die laughing for weeks and got me hooked. Guaranteed to turn a bad day around in a heart beat ROFLMFAO!!!!!

Anyone watching the NBA finals was privy to the game of the year. Lebron and Kyrie basically took a dump in the middle of Oracle Arena and embarrassed Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

Yes they got the single season record for wins, but they hatched a complete fail on the biggest stage. ROFL!!!!!!!

I completely called it too, I knew once draymond got suspended, that game 7 was coming, and that lebron was going to go nuts. Kyrie Irvings dagger 3 at the end, on steph curry, was the shot of the goddam year. Ice cold veins, pull up dagger 3 in YO FACE! ROFL

MVP steph curry my asssssssss!!!!


To all the lebron haters out there, GtFO! He defied all odds, turning junk like jR smith into an NBA champion while uplifting an entire city and completing the best comeback in NBA history down 3 games to 1. THERES nothing left to hate.

Lebrons block on Igadala was epic, the man basically flew to the topo of the backboard and turned the momentum. Lebron James is truly top 5 greatest of all time. I agree with Isaiah Thomas......

Quake / QUAKE CHAMPIONS

Kinda surprised no one created a thread about this, but I will pioneer the ownage:

New Quake game called Quake Champions, the screenplay looks awesome, especially the transparent running / vision.


Official Description:

Id Software let loose with a trailer for Quake Champions at E3, in which a bunch of heavily-armed men, women, and whatever had a go at each other for reasons unknown. At least two known Quake characters—Ranger and Visor—will apparently be involved, and it will support a 120Hz refresh rate and unlocked framerates. And it is not, Studio Director Tim Willits told Rocket Beans TV, a MOBA.

“What we're making is a competitive, arena-style, classic Quake game, with the addition of the Champions,” he continued. “We feel that the Champions are a natural evolution of not only Quake, but the genre. That's why you see a lot of character-driven games, because it doesn't change the fundamental way that you play the game, but it enhances the experience and gives you more to do.”

It will be a “gritty, mature, bloody, competitive, twitchy, high-speed game,” intended to satisfy old-timer Quakers while simultaneously attracting a new audience with a taste for competitive esports. The conventional gameplay modes will all be there, but id is also “refining” one of the team-based modes to make it more esports-focused. The aim is to make it an “inviting and natural progression” from Quake Live, with staples like “rocket jumping, strafing, air control," contained in "a modern game for today."

It will also be exclusive to the PC. “We are not planning on making a console version. We want no excuses, no limitations,” Willits said. “I love our console fans, I'm not shutting the door on consoles, but for this game we want to focus on the platform that can give us the competitive esports angle that we're striving for.”

Saw this movie Thursday night. I left the film filled with an alien feeling... I didn't know how to rate it.

I was hit with too many thoughts and comparisons. Problem is, there is so much superman, batman, justice league content in existence, that balancing what was just presented vs the entire history of dc material, and specifically my favorite storylines and character strengths, was impossible.

For example, I am a fan that believes superman is extremely powerful, and by extreme, i mean able to lift quintillion pounds, fly at the speed of light, and basically own everyone and everything.

To see superman in a position where some kryptonite gas completely incapacitates him is difficult. To see him completely over powered by doomsday is also difficult.

I am totally against the idea that superman has to be depowered in order to for people to relate to him better.

Batman's logic for deciding against killing superman was also suspect. Batman completely changes face just because they both shared a mother with the same name of martha. The logic is baffling. I can suspend reality, but wow.


Lex luthor will not be memorable. This incarnation / interpretation of lex was bad. Just a tad under average. This is not a genius or a madman, just a whining dervish. lmfao.....

Lois / Superman's love story was good, uplifting the movie at times. The reincarnated Alfred, played by Simon of Die hard with a vengeance, was neat.

The final battle of the movie missed its mark though, with the death of superman. Batman and Wonderwoman never really developed a bond with superman, they just dragged his body from the rubble and stood there like noobs. For the record, WonderWoman is not superior to Superman, and this movie failed at giving Superman proper Respect with his abilities.


Anyway, after some thought, the only real way to rate this movie honestly is to suspend and forget any and everything we have ever known about any of these characters. That is how the story was writen and how the studios decided to run this. This movie / dawn of a series is supposed to be completely new, a complete retelling and new take on all the dc characters. That is why the movie lasted 2.5 hours, why batman's story was retold and why some parts just fell flat. Things that we associated with these legendary characters do not hold true, no matter how bad I want my version of superman to hit the screen. This is difficult to accept, and yet I do so remaining extremely annoyed.

If i were to suspend any and all comic knowledge, any and all history of the christopher reeve movies, any and all knowledge of the animated stories, and just relied on the past 2 movies, I would rate the movie as a 7.3 / 10. Far from perfect, but action packed. The movie makes sense, it has a story, but there is much that was left untold or hurried.

In retrospect, It took almost 20 yrs from michael keaton's batman to christian bale's. There were many interpretations and follies in between, from arnold's mr freeze to george clooney. Time is on our side, one day they'll get it right, and until then, ill still take this movie over nothing anyday.

I still think christopher reeve's superman in superman 2 was the best ever, though smallville's interpretation ranks very very high as wel for me. Ben affleck is still junk, even if his batman was good.

Hey all!

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be hosting a third annual fantasy football competition on nfl.com.

We had a blast last season and now we are looking for more participants. I wanted to let everyone know NOW, before the season starts, and before we initiate the draft to give anyone who wants to join us, a chance to do so.

It is very fun and week after week the competition and the fun increases.
We write news stories updating the status of the league and they are quite funny. This year we may very well purchase a Ring or Trophy option for the winner!!

A couple people expressed interest, so in closing, this is the thread to make your desire known to us, so we can send out an invite and deliver the password to join our league. I want to encourage everyone to join so we can really have a fantastic  season.

I believe that mayweather has MAN strength, and not only man strength, but an olympic body fine tuned for world title fights. Mayweather is ripped, intelligent, and very dangerous. If he caught ronda with a punch, she would go down instantly. No matter what proponents think, she is a WOMAN and women have a different level of pain threshold, which is why for eons, it has been deemed unethical for a man to hit a woman.


considering this fight could very well bring in a billion $, the possibility of it happening increases...I for one, would oppose this happening, but I would watch it. I would not want to see ronda die or get severely hurt, because mayweather would not hold back...

even if she were to tackle him, hes strong enough to bust out of any grab she could muster. If you watched the last fight, ronda's footwork was non existent, and her physique was lacking.

I have mayweather winning in round 1, within 2 mins. If ronda charges, then more like 10 seconds.

Former pro wrestling icon "Rowdy" Roddy Piper died Thursday night in his sleep from natural causes, according to the Hollywood Reporter. He was 61.

Piper was one of the most popular wrestler from the 1980s, along with other stars of the World Wrestling Foundation like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Randy "Macho Man" Savage.

In the scripted world of pro wrestling, he was cast as a heel for much of his career. He wore a kilt as part of his pre-match costume and strutted to the ring while bagpipe music played.

He also hosted a segment called "Piper's Pit," in which he interviewed other wrestlers. In 2005, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Piper was born Roderick George Toombs in Saskatoon, Canada.

TMZ reported that he died from cardiac arrest in his Hollywood home

So we all are aware of the young man who entered the church and decided to kill as many black people as he could. Obviously, the young man has issues, and my heart goes out to all those friendly loving folk who lost their loved ones.

Along side the massacre however, is the roaring debate now over the display of the confederate flag on state buildings, license plates and so forth. The governor of south carolina publicly announced her support for removing the confederate flag from the capitol building. Many senators and other governors from other states have come out in support and have interestingly made their own feelings known.

I just read a local article, and from my past incursions with mr man, focalor, i am somewhat torn. Focalor persuaded me to see the confederate flag from the other side, and how it wasnt just a symbol to hate. There really is a lot of history and a lot of depth to that flag.

I guess i am for the most part ticked off that politicians are riding whatever wave of current public opinion to suit their own interests. Should the flag go? Does the flag deserve the scrutiny its receiving because some young idiot decided to shoot up a church?

I honestly dont know. I used to watch the dukes of hazzard alot with my parents when i was younger. Looking at the general lee, i always admired the way that neat flag covered its skin. But as an adult, learning how that flag was used and for what it wanted the nation to be, shed a different light.

I think the Stars and Stripes should always fly high first and foremost, and if residents of that state want a smaller confederate flag and vote democratically to do so, i have no problem with it.


Anyway i thought id make this thread for anyone who wanted to express any opinions on the matter, since this is the major news story of the moment..
