I think your image post did not work on shoutbox, 10zx. At least on desktop firefox and iOS Safari. It seems to be friendlier to youtube than imgflip.

Part of what Costigan is saying is that Discord is very non-discoverable, and sometimes private or invite-only, even though the subjects show up. Contrast that with one big web forum with a much better UI for figuring things out. Web forums have worked great for 20+ years.
