Quake / Windows 10 and Quake 2 Engines
« on: October 14, 2016, 06:20:45 AM »
Hi all,
This may have already been asked, but has anyone had issues with Quake II and Windows 10. I'm about to buy a new laptop, and it comes with this installed.
I use Q2Pro for MP and KMQuake2 (first person) for SP games and Coop or Die mod. I think the KMQuake2 will work OK, but I'm concerned about Q2Pro as this is my optimum Multi Player Engine set up.
Any thoughts?

. On QII here, I'm lucky to get ranked in the middle of dm match - better at Rail tho. (not as good as Boby tho.)

I've been away from QII for a few months - came off bike and broke 3 bones (both elbows)
. Went on SP QII Nightmare and practiced everything before coming back. Crosshair being slightly out is also something that needs to be in set back into mental memory. Some scary good people on, indeed
What matters is that you're not a hacker and you are having fun...

- 'Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can?' He probably couldn't, not living in one of his million pound mansions at the time.
Would have missed it anyway as out at a leaving do (plenty of free booze [bloke's do so actual beer this time and not warm red wine] and free food).

You can then create maps and add bots, using a map maker. Skin / player making, as well? etc.

Energy drinks (proper supplements with electrolytes) are all well and good, I use them for my 80mile cycle rides on a Saturday (probably only do 50miles max. now, as winter crawls in) but if you're playing a computer game and drinking it, by the time you get to Makaveli's age you're gonna be a right old porker!
OK checked and it's EDT er. I think. So, EDT of 7pm is my (UK) time of 00:00 midnight.
