I have really good memories playing with pepp on his Seattle server. I enjoyed playing the unique maps. We used to talk a lot. He always had a good attitude. I am sad to hear the news. He will certainly be missed.

R.I.P. pepp5.

It was a lot of fun. And the stats are cool.
Thanks for organizing!

Quake / Re: Quadz, the Loquaciously Multiloquent Member

Just heard the news. For someone that I've never met in person and only interacted with online I feel that he made such a huge impact on my life. I'm in tears.

What can I say about quadz. I feel like he was my biggest cheerleader and mentor. My internet dad. He genuinely cared about me and my well being.  I spent all my waking teenage years playing Quake 2. I grew up playing this game and with this community.

He was kind, generous, and always left me feeling glad I called or messaged him that day.

Something he said to me once and has always stuck with me after another tastyspleen forum dispute (lol):
"Illegitimi non carborundum"  (don't let the bastards grind you down :))

I'm no longer active on Quake 2 but I was for a long time. Mirc and the quake 2 servers were my home. I was so lonely and really struggling to find myself back then in the good old Quake 2 days.  It was many years ago since I spoke to him and told him how I was doing. I hope he knows what a great impact he made on my life.

RIP my friend.

As a follow-up to the Chernobyl HBO series you should consider reading Midnight in Chernobyl.

I have been looking for shows that are multi-tasking friendly since I have a ton of crochet projects to complete. I'm going through Parks & Recreation withdrawal at the moment... I just finished rewatching it and no other show can really replace it. If you all hsve any suggestions let me know. I tried to watch Downton Abbey (on Amazon prime) which is also a rewatch. I haven't watched Buffy in awhile so I was considering watching that as well as Fantastic Beasts and where to find them on HBO in preparation for part 2.

A place to post about what you're reading or more likely, listening to due to your busy lifestyle.

I thought that Venom was pretty good. I also enjoyed Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I know, I'm behind on the times. Christopher Robin was cute and I enjoyed it.

SNL is definitely not as good as what it used to be.

Mr. Nobody was kind of a weird movie but I enjoyed it.

I saw a horror movie this morning, my son being born. Terrifying. 10/10 will not watch again but considering the sequel.

Congratulations haunted!
