Good code, Quadz. And well written... But could you explain it now in normal english for me. Maybe the rest of the people here understand it. But I don't.

Quake / Re: Have Mercy Quadz« on: February 13, 2009, 10:25:42 AM »Seems to me like whatever happened in the past should stay there. Talking about the why's and wherefore's isn't going anywhere. Like I said, if he's not currently eligible for removal of the ban, at least state a date at which time he will (if ever) be eligible to be unmuted. Or simply take him up on his proposal to completely ban him if he exhibits the same behavior after unmuting him. I think we're all pretty sure that if we keep poking at him in this thread, he'll revert to more of the same stuff that transpired in other similar threads. Honestly, I kinda expect him to go right back to doing the same old thing once he's unmuted. But hey, at that point, you can just ban him outright and never have deal with him again. He gets the last chance he's protesting for, and in the end we get to preserve the peace whether he speaks or not. Everybody wins. I agree. 3

Hey bio, you and I have the same "problem". I connect from belgium and you from france.
My problem starts here: 6 12 ms 10 ms 9 ms te3-2.ar1.NLD1.ANT1.gblx.net [64.215.184.29] 7 137 ms 137 ms 136 ms The-Planet.GigabitEthernet7-3.ar2.DAL2.gblx.net [64.208.170.198] And yours here: 6 41 ms 44 ms 40 ms 64.208.110.225 7 166 ms 160 ms 162 ms The-Planet.GigabitEthernet7-3.ar2.DAL2.gblx.net[64.208.170.198] So I think it's the transatlantic connection. My return trace from ts is very different though. Which is more important the to trace or the from trace? And most important.. What can ze DO about it like Vigilante? 4

I'm not sure about it but will the use of R1Q2 affect my gameplay in any positive way I don't have it installed right now.
About my ping: It has always been on around 125. Now since the last 2 weeks it suddenly rose to 140. I wonder where those 15 ms came from. There are more people out there who have notice a ping rise in the last weeks that I have spoken to on the servers. So something has changed. Again 15 ms doesn't seem much but I notice it in my gameplay. Greetz, Krazy 5

Same here. My ping went from 120's to 140. It's not much, but it's enough to have me make to lower my screen res. to as low as possible to have a bit of smoothness. Even then I'm missing most shots and getting fragged like hell.
