well railz is a particular mod. good for practice but not much else. loses it's luster after a while. one weapon 1 strategy. why not just choose Lithium CTF? lithctf.yolasite.com 

Hmmn, maybe. Do you know if my dodge bot will work or not in Lithium CTF first? I don't want to install it and find out it doesn't.

Apples to Oranges IMO. DM/TDM is more about item control while RA2 is about map control. For the most part, the team with control wins.

I like the idea of RA. Everyone spawns with equal weapons, ammo, armor & the best player/team wins. I enjoy it more then DM/TDM personally.

I don't really care one way or another, I was just curious. I know that Clan Arena (Quake Live) has it defaulted to "competition mode" and it just make sense to have it always that way (to me).

Using vent or in game binds are the same thing IMO. Let me elaborate: If I say "Male hit" or if I have a bind that says the same thing, who cares. Vent is a form of communication.

Where the line gets drawn is if someone is dead and uses chasecam to call out remaining enemies positions or HP.

TL|DR - Info gathered while alive = okay! Info gathered after death = not okay!
