Just fer fun, hastily put together a Halloween Haunted House Dungeon track yesterday evening to hopefully creep out the Trick-or-Treaters tonight (made using ACID pro 7 and samples from the Sony Pictures Sound Effects Series library)

I heard about shadertoy, but I am not sure what it has to do with this. I am not using shaders for this, these are all just small textured quads, very basic, it doesn't work via shaders.

Right, I know they're different approaches.

It was based on the artistic stylings of your particle video, that I was reminded of some things people do in shadertoy.

E.g.

ShaderToy: Particle Fireworks

ShaderToy: Magic Particles Multi-Pass

ShaderToy: Synaptic

ShaderToy: Camera Obsession #1

ShaderToy: Firework Show

ShaderToy: Particle Tracing

etc.

This is my first time trying one out.

It's like you're in spectator, you can switch between players, but you can also free roam while the demo plays.

To play it, download the above .mvd2 file to:

  baseq2/demos

Then in q2pro console type:

  mvdplay ts500-008

You can use [ and ] keys to switch players, or press left mouse button to toggle free-roam.
